I’m from a very small town in Texas( meaning 900 residents) married to a New York city guy. I’ve traveled a great deal, read a huge quantity of books, have done cooking demonstrations, am an orchid growing enthusiast, a lover of this great country, a lover of cats, a lover of golf, a blogger, a community newsletter book review writer, and have spasmodic torticollis. My career spans from being a high school advanced placement American literature teacher while also being the speech and debate coach to being a statewide private tour guide for large groups of international visitors to a travel agent to becoming a director of sales for the largest cruise line company in the world. After all of that, I spent time teaching children with reading disabilities how to read. This mishmash of careers and experiences makes for an interesting life and some very fun stories. No one can say that when I saw a fork in the road I didn’t take it…I hope my desire to “satisfy my curiosity” satisfies yours.
